VOLGOGRAD, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Star striker Mohamed Salah will start in Egypt's final group match against Saudi Arabia in the ongoing World Cup in Russia on Monday.
The Liverpool forward continues his recovery from a shoulder injury suffered in last month's Champions League final, but coach Hector Cuper still included him in the starting lineup.
Salah was an unused substitute in Egypt's 1-0 loss to Uruguay on June 15, but started against hosts Russia five days later, scoring a penalty in a 3-1 loss.
Egypt and Saudi Arabia have been knocked out of the World Cup after both conceding two losses, but Cuper has said his team will fight for glory and make the country happy with a good result from the last group match.
